Nigerians have been hit with another Fuel pump price increase as global tension continues between Iran and the United States over the strait of Hormuz. Brent Crude Oil hit a new high of $107 to $110 per barrel
The Dangote refinery over the weekend, raised its gantry price to N1,350 per liter, forcing filling stations to also adjust their pump price to N1,375 and N1,450 across the Nation’s capital in Abuja and Lagos state.
The spike in petrol pump price has also increased the cost of transportation in city centres and across the country. Nigerians have also reacted to the fuel hike, calling on the government to speedily intervene.
