Just hours after the release of the 20 kidnapped prospective National Youth Service Corps members in Imo state, some parents have claimed the release of their children was not the efforts of security men, but by ransome paid to the kidnappers.
A parent who spoke with the BBC on the grounds of anonymity, said ransome was paid in dollars for the release of their children.
Earlier reports had indicated that the release of the prospective corps members was out of a thorough search and rescue operations
